What hardware, software, infrastructure, resources, and training did you need to meet the needs of your students for assignments and/or curiosity in the ’07 school year? (Think in terms of information, tools [computers, software, databases, etc.], reading motivators, Library spaces, and training for you)

laptops(or computer lab in the library), Active Board, projector, speakers for sound, wireless access points throughout the school, COWs that have enough laptops for an entire class, headsets with microphones, desktops, LRP (Gale, ABC ClIO, Worldbook, videostreaming, Photostory, Atomic Learning

What hardware, software, infrastructure, resources, and training will you need to meet the needs of your students for assignments and/or curiosity in the ’08 school year? (Think in terms of information, tools [computers, software, databases, etc.], reading motivators, Library spaces, and training for you)

Dedicated teacher laptop, wireless access, Active Boards, LCD projectors in each classroom, digital cameras, document camera, scanner, more COW's, printers (color) in every classroom, DVD burners in every class, unrestricted access, student email, websites, chatrooms (school related), funding provided for community access of libraries at least 2 times per week

Question 3:
What hardware, software, infrastructure, resources, and training will you need to meet the needs of your students for assignments and/or curiosity in the ’11 school year? (Think in terms of information, tools [computers, software, databases, etc.], reading motivators, Library spaces, and training for you)

Laptop for every student so they can make own flipcharts, every student issued flash drives, downloadable software for creating student projects (podcast, etc), district wide WIFI, distance education capability, online classes, collaboration with city museums and school libraries, public and school library collaboration, universal translator software (accurate translation), sinks in all libraries since it is "the place" for all to meet, updated and adequate space for libraries built in the early 90's
