What hardware, software, infrastructure, resources, and training did you need to meet the needs of your students for assignments and/or curiosity in the ’07 school year? (Think in terms of information, tools [computers, software, databases, etc.], reading motivators, Library spaces, and training for you)

projector, laptop, online databases, share folders, generic login, Cows, wireless access, printers (color), MARC magician, digital cameras and video cameras, photostory, kidspiration, scanner, own web page for links, Computer Lab, screen, powerstrips, highspeed internet, speakers, headphones with microphones, circ scanner, circ computers, TLA Conference, TCEA Conference, networking with us (email), flashdrive, refrigerator stocked with Diet pepsi, Portal, online TEKS,


Question 2:
What hardware, software, infrastructure, resources, and training will you need to meet the needs of your students for assignments and/or curiosity in the ’08 school year? (Think in terms of information, tools [computers, software, databases, etc.], reading motivators, Library spaces, and training for you)

All of the above plus Activ Boards with training and all the whistles, dvd players, ipod with video, playaways, cell phones, personal laptop(for presentation but not replacing our desktop to catalog on between presentations.) Lights with remote control, flashdrive, COWS with dvd players for presentaion stations, color printers for COWS, working wireless access everywhere, no more restricting websites we need, LESS SPAM, open blogs, wikis, MySpace, etc, Librarians have quick "UNRESTRICT" authority/ability, online schedule for library, Be able to work from home and get into everything I need. Kids need to be able to access their SAN folders from home, sinks with hot water, bathrooms, webcams (present to many?) (Interactive grade level-wide learning..)

What hardware, software, infrastructure, resources, and training will you need to meet the needs of your students for assignments and/or curiosity in the ’11 school year? (Think in terms of information, tools [computers, software, databases, etc.], reading motivators, Library spaces, and training for you)

Whatever is new and current and the training to keep us one step ahead of them. - Conveyor belt/Robot that shelves for me :) Can catalog too. Better cataloging resources (less work for us) Order online for everything, recent hardware (replace frequently) SBISD wifi
