(Think in terms of information, tools [computers, software, databases, etc.], reading motivators, Library spaces, and training for you)
  • Active board training
  • Not enough strategically placed electrical outlets
  • Not enough active drops for internet
  • atomic learning
  • powerpoint on all machines

  • Bluebonnet and Lone Star luncheons for reading promotion
  • Read Across America, 2 x 2 Books, Book-it!, TAYSHAS, professional bookfairs, family library nights, contests and promotions, Library Services supplied training on dot net nuke, wikis, blogs, cataloging, podcasting,etc.

  • wireless access
  • Active boards and training
  • laptops
  • well planned media center for data projection including electrical
  • additional computers for student and staff use - faster
  • more printers
  • computers ergonomically lowered for primary grades
  • all inclusive database
  • mobile barcode scanner
  • high quality document scanner
  • training for all of the above hardware, etc. - preferably with personal instructors, not online

What hardware, software, infrastructure, resources, and training willwill you need to meet the needs of your students for assignments and/or curiosity in the ’11 school year?   • all schools wireless access
  • every school has at least one self-check, user friendly, station
  • areas dedicated to media editting hardware and software for student and staff use
  • eliminate cassette recorders, overhead projectors, and other obsolete equipment in exchange for document readers, etc.
  • standardized equipment vendor list with esily accessible requisition process

Question 4:
What hardware, software, infrastructure, resources, and training willwill you need to meet the needs of your students for assignments and/or curiosity in the ’20 school year? (Think in terms of information, tools [computers, software, databases, etc.], reading motivators, Library spaces, and training for you)
  • media will all be stored or accessed from personal handheld device owned by every student and staff member
  • uniform software and operating systems (no Mac v. Windows)
  • all communication takes place via iphone-type device
  • holographic databases
  • holographic keyboards
  • universal translators
